Billet Iron
The scrap iron used as raw material is melted in electric arc furnaces and turned into liquid steel. After the necessary alloying processes are completed in order to make the steel in liquid form suitable for the quality targeted here by being transferred from the arc furnaces to the ladle furnaces, it is transferred from the ladle furnaces to the continuous casting machines, and it is turned into semi-finished steel billets with square cross-sections between 100*100 mm and 200*200 mm. Semi-finished steel billets, whose quality control analyzes are evaluated and approved, are shipped to rolling mills to produce rebar and wire rod.
Our semi-finished billets are used in the production of coils, construction steel, angles and profiles.
